Sophisticated Analytical Instrumentation Facility (SAIF) housed at Panjab University (PU) Chandigarh (estd. 1882, NAAC A⁺⁺, UGC graded I autonomy) is a premier state-of-the-art facility supported by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), New Delhi. DST has acknowledged SAIF, PU with a maximum number of users all over India. Due to the strategic location of Chandigarh, various states depend on the city for its scientific and academic capabilities. Equipped with the latest facilities and excellent trained manpower SAIF has been at the forefront of technological progress of the region. We enable scientists, technologists and engineers to forecast and showcase their research work such that it is publishable in high impact journals at the international level. The user-friendly interface of this facility available online at https://onlinesaif.puchd.ac.in/ makes it most easy for users around the globe to access it. Structural, morphological, interfacial and many other property characterizations and testing is undertaken right up to the nanoscale and atomic levels. The congenial technical and administrative staff facilitate the usage of the facilities and provide the most updated information required for researchers in various fields.
